Meet Roy

Roy Peterson

Owner of Archway Contracting

Roy Peterson is the owner of Archway Contracting. He and his wife Sarah live in Ham Lake, MN with their 3 children.  Roy was born and raised in Andover, MN graduating from Blaine HS in 2001, where he played football and hockey.  As a junior forward, Roy helped lead his Blaine Bengals hockey team to win the 2000 Minnesota High School State Hockey Championship.  Roy’s co-workers nicknamed him the “Hometown Hero” for his small claim to fame as a legendary local hockey hero.  After high school, Roy continued his education at Bemidji State University, majoring in Sports Management.  As no stranger to winning, Roy’s competitive spirit, hard work ethic and leadership role on the ice have carried over to the field of construction to help Archway Contracting achieve great success within the local community.

Like most Minnesotans, Roy enjoys the outdoors, hunting, fishing, boating, snowmobiling, and spending time with friends and family over some good old-fashioned barbecue.  Both of Roy’s parents were full-time school teachers in the area and still live in Andover after 40 years of marriage.  As the son of two teachers, he naturally learned to love teaching, coaching and pouring into others.  As the owner of Archway Contracting and Blaine “Hometown Hero,” Roy Peterson looks forward to serving you and your family.
